You import a Support Package for the software component UI2_FND or SAP_UI.
Carry out the following steps after the installation.
1. Step 1: Resetting the gateway metadata cache
- Call transaction /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP and choose “Execute”.
OR
- Using the transaction SPRO, call the SAP Reference IMG.
- Navigate to the node SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP Netweaver -> Gateway -> OData Channel -> Administration -> Cache Settings -> Manage Cleanup Jobs -> Metadata -> Clear Cache
- Execute the IMG node.
- Choose “Execute” on the next screen.
2. Step 2: Resetting the OData metadata cache
- Call transaction /IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP, select the checkbox displayed and choose “Execute”.
OR
- Using the transaction SPRO, call the SAP Reference IMG.
- Navigate to the node SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP Netweaver -> Gateway Service Enablement -> Backend OData Channel -> Support Utilities -> Clear Cache
- Execute the IMG node.
- Select the checkbox on the next screen.
- Choose “Execute”.
