Symptom
The Fiori Launchpad is empty.
Table /UI2/CHIP_CHDR contains error messages.
Reason and Prerequisites
Incorrect configuration of the system for acting as HTTP client.
Sending HTTP requests to the system itself fails.
Solution
Either import the NetWeaver UI Extension Add-On 100 SP08 or import the corrections of this note.
The correction changes the way of reading the CHIP configuration XML for the major repositories.
Therefore run Report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP or Report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE once to deploy the changes.
